First week of SHE-Leads completed

The first module of SI’s new leadership programme SHE-Leads is now completed, and it was a successful week. The programme has 18 female participants from the Saudi Arabian business sector, academia and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The purpose is to empower female leaders and entrepreneurs by means of creating networks between the participants and connections with Swedish companies.

The participants of SHE-Leads are already established in the business sector with several years of experience and several of them work for Swedish companies. The first module took place in Sweden, and they visited the Swedish Institute, Ericsson, Atlas Copco and the AllBright and AddGender organizations.

SHE-Leads’ purpose is to empower the participants in their roles as leaders in businesses and entrepreneurs by creating networks with others in their position, and by enhancing relations with Swedish companies. At the same time, the participants learn more about Swedish businesses, about Sweden and our experiences and values.

The leadership programme follows SI’s mission to establish relations between Swedish partners and the decision-makers of tomorrow around the world.
