Alumni Network Toolkit: Eat Smart Challenge

Food relates to everyone. The way we raise, process, package and transport our food radically impacts our lives, communities and the planet. Luckily, there is a huge potential to make the food system smarter by changing the way we eat. Eat Smart Challenge is a toolkit that offers seven hands on challenges, one for each day of one week, made to raise awareness and help people understand why their choice of food matters.

With this toolkit our alumni members, and maybe the general public in your community, will participate by taking on the seven different challenges and sharing photos and reflections on your platform and via your hashtag. The week will end with an event to which all participants are invited, where you discuss your experiences and explore the topic of sustainable food even further. The challenge is an online activity and this toolkit offers digital material to post in your channels. It also includes suggestions for a follow-up activity by the end of the challenge week.
