The Baltic Digital project addresses digitalization and innovation. It wants to create partnerships across the borders and to promote digitalization among companies and public organizations in the Baltic Sea region.
The countries in the Baltic Sea region are undergoing digital transformations. Businesses as well as public sector organizations are experiencing new opportunities thanks to digital solutions and services. Still, the project suggests, there is much more to benefit from digitalization. The public sector needs to develop services and security, whereas private companies must develop productivity, sustainability and sales through new business models.
To boost the transformation from analog to digital environments in the Baltic Sea region, the project wants to open up for more contacts across the borders. It wants to gather relevant companies and organizations to elaborate on new opportunities and challenges with digital transformation. The project uses a methodology that pays much attention to actual and tangible needs at the regional and local level.
