Rainbow Riots are internationally acclaimed for creative collaborations giving voice
to LGBTQ people in countries where they are marginalized. Our previous projects
established our organisations in Africa and South Asia and now we will unite them
in an intercultural project to create the worlds first queer international record label
– New Rainbows.
The project uses innovative digital working methods to overcome coronavirus
restrictions, national, cultural and social barriers. Organisations in three countries
will use technology to collaborate artistically across borders and form a new youth
driven international network and record label to fight discrimination. The results
will be released on global digital platforms and live on forever as sustainable
campaign for equality for LGBTQ people.
