Redefining the methods and vocabulary of reproductive health and rights, comprehensive sexuality education and gender

The objective of this project is to ensure good comprehensive sexuality education and information (CSE&I) for children and youth in Tanzania. It is also to re-define the vocabulary and methods used in comprehensive sexuality education to better suit the changing moral and political landscape in Tanzania.

We aim to build up a critical mass of master trainers who are themselves trained in the process-oriented approach to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), comprehensive sexuality education and information, and gender issues within the Femina Health Information Project and its strategic partners. We will achieve this by means of 1) a high-quality training-of-trainers process for master trainers and 2) basic training for all.
