The project aims to enhance the capacity of municipalities in sustainable urban development and good governance, through education and mentorship for decision makers and community leaders.
Ukrainian municipalities struggle to maintain development, reconstruct war-damaged infrastructure, and especially front-line municipalities have significant challenges such as limited expertise and resources.
To address this, the project offers capacity building opportunities, drawing from Ukrainian and European experiences in spatial strategic planning, especially relevant in the context of post-war reconstruction. It features educational modules emphasising peer-to-peer learning and pilot project planning.
