The aim of the project is to accelerate cooperation for sustainable recovery of the Eastern Partnership region, addressing business-related human rights and environmental challenges.
Companies supply goods and services, create jobs and can contribute to poverty alleviation. However, the risk of negative business impact on people and environment is also significant, and are even higher in crisis or armed conflicts, or where the lack of the rule of law is seen.
The project combines raising awareness of business actors, trade unions and Civil society organisations about human rights and environmental due diligence; adapting and updating recommendations for different stakeholders in the region to promote corporate sustainability and creating a Sustainable Biz Hub for communication and dialogue between stakeholders.
