Kickoff for Impact Pioneers ’25

The Swedish Institute's initiative to support Climate Tech entrepreneurship globally is now live! The programme gathers leaders from around the world in an effort to connect ecosystems and increase the growth and impact of Climate Tech entrepreneurship.

Impact Pioneers ’25 brings together leaders from the global ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation to jointly foster collaboration and sustainable development. The programme sets out to build capacity for entrepreneurship enabling, through the sharing of knowledge, inspiration and network across the international cohort, and between the cohort and the Swedish ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation.

64 Participants Selected from Nearly 1,200 Applicants

In response to a global call for applications in April, nearly 1,200 individuals applied to join the program. After a rigorous selection process that evaluated applicants based on experience, networks, and motivation, 64 participants from 26 countries across four regions were chosen to form the cohort. The group is evenly split between men and women, and includes representatives from the private sector, academia and the public sector. All participants share a commitment to advancing entrepreneurship within their local ecosystems and a curiosity for ‘Climate Tech’.

Networking in Stockholm Part of the 8-week Programme

The program spans 8 weeks and will culminate in a conference week in Stockholm from October 20-24, where participants will meet in person to network with each other and engage with the local Swedish entrepreneurship community. Scheduled activities include visits to prominent innovation hubs in Stockholm such as Norrsken House, Epicenter, and STING as well as networking with the broader Swedish ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation.
