Over 150 events organized by SI alumni networks in 2019

Last year Swedish Institute alumni networks in 33 countries organized events on pressing topics such as gender parity, circular economy and waste management.

The alumni are vital in the continuing exchange of knowledge and cooperation but also in the international dialogue on democracy, human rights, sustainability and gender equality. The alumni networks provide platforms for alumni to stay in touch with Sweden and each other. During 2019 12 new networks and chapters were formed in countries and regions such as Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kosovo, Myanmar, Peru, Taiwan and Turkey. The SI Alumni Network consists of over 15 000 people in 140 countries who have studied with a SI scholarship or taken part in one of our leadership programmes. In the Sweden Alumni Event Calendar you can see upcoming events in your area.
