SI welcomed 35 dedicated teachers to Nobel Prize Teacher Summit

In collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum, the Swedish Institute has awarded scholarships for educators from 14 countries to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit, along with an extended four-day programme.

The initiative, which includes school visits and workshops, not only fosters professional development but also encourages cross-cultural exchange among teachers from diverse backgrounds.

At the summit teachers from all over the world meet Nobel Prize Laureates, top scientists and peace activists around a theme of great importance in education. The theme of this year’s Nobel Prize Teacher Summit was “Minding the Brain” – a deep dive into various perspectives of the human brain. As educators, understanding the brain is essential in forming a positive learning environment.

The purpose of the programme is to offer the scholars valuable insights and renewed inspiration to promote democracy, science, and human rights—making an impact by shaping the minds and futures of students around the world.

The scholars are welcomed to the Global Sweden Alumni Network offering different opportunities for professional development and networking, webinars and capacity building initiatives and programmes.
