Communicating Sweden

A large part of SI's activities is about telling about Sweden. We communicate Swedish skills and experiences for an international target group, to put Sweden on the map and contribute to global issues. Our goal is to constantly develop our communication so that our target groups can learn more about Sweden and to support those who work in international contexts.

Institut Suédois
The Swedish Institute in Paris, also known as Institut suédois, is Sweden's only cultural center abroad. The institute serves as a vibrant meeting place for Swedish-French and international cultural collaborations. Here, over 100,000 visitors each year engage with Swedish culture in various forms.

Sweden in digital channels
We are behind Sweden's official website in English, sweden.se and also communicate in Arabic and Russian. Social media is the hub of Sweden's digital communication and we can be found on Facebook, X and Instagram, among others. Through external monitoring and good local knowledge, we can reach more people with exciting content about Sweden.

Sharing Sweden - information and materials about Sweden
Sharing Sweden is a web platform with material that Swedish embassies, consulates and other organizations can use to share information about Sweden. Here we offer communication concepts, exhibitions, social media campaigns about Sweden on topics such as societal issues, innovation and sustainability.

Study in Sweden
We are also working to increase Sweden's attractiveness as a nation of knowledge. Through the student platform studyinsweden.se and activities at embassies, fairs and universities around the world, we work to increase knowledge about Sweden as a country of study.
