The OSEAP project wants to provide an international online platform for social entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea region. The goal is to foster entrepreneurial mindsets and benefit social business partnerships.
The project stresses the need for more education and mentorship for social entrepreneurs, as well as more encouragement for social engagement in general. It also points to the fact that far from all entrepreneurs in the region speak English, and that courses in local languages are needed.
The project aims to create lasting social business partnerships, across countries and industries. It also wants to boost the influence of social impact initiatives. The main activity of the project is to create an online platform, that will be used for education, mentorship, networking and investments. The work includes research of available platforms, “needs and gap” analysis, contacts with IT partners and online-education experts, development of a visual concept, production of one pilot video lesson, etc.
