Fast Forward to the Future: Empowerment of Young People Through Arts

This project aims to explore hard questions surrounding gender equality, democracy, free speech and use of public space with youth and youth workers through the expertise of contemporary artists and art educators. This work will be developed through knowledge-exchange sessions between professionals from Sweden and Russia, aiming to create joint workshops with youth and each other.  Grafikens Hus and TOK both work with learning by experience. We test and improve our ideas in practice by working with young people, youth centers, municipalities, artists and art educators who can make change happen. Our collaborative approach is at the core of both organizations, which means that our partnership is based on decades of experience of how to share the creation and ownership of new ideas.
