Promoting Gender Equality through Forum Theatre

The proposed project aims to develop and explore forum theatre as a cultural approach to addressing the issue of the unequal gender distribution of leadership in Ukrainian communities in times of decentralization reforms. The methodology is based on the Swedish experience and will be adapted to local realities during the meeting in Ukraine. The method involves participants playing out situations of gender inequality in everyday life and exploring solutions to problems through the role play. The method will be tested and evaluated in two communities, and then shared with other actors for change.
