The Tahoun Project is a capacity-building partnership between Lebanese, Syrian and international heritage specialists. It will address democratisation processes and awareness-raising to benefit heritage professionals, craftspeople and local communities in Lebanon and Syrian in order to preserve a currently neglected and endangered heritage and to empower them to take part in decision-making processes about this heritage and how it can be used for the socio-economic development of the community.
