Untouched Lines: a project of heritage and collective memory

Many landmarks, even complete cities, have been destroyed in the war in Syria. This project explores remaining public spaces of Damascus, symbols of a heritage. It is a community project investigating collective memories, with the objective to listen to the inhabitants of Damascus, understand what places are relevant to them, and give them a voice. The aim is to promote discussions, visit locations together, research their history and carry out practical workshops to make public interventions.
