Ethiopia has one of the least gender-equal journalist populations in the world. This imbalance in perspectives can easily disturb, or at least delay, the country’s process towards democracy.
This project aims to empower female journalists by giving them practical skills and tools for storytelling, journalistic media production on mobile devices, e-publications and podcasting. This will, in addition, enable women in Ethiopia to access a female perspective on topics usually told for men, by men.
