Our choice of food matters. Everything we eat has an impact on our health, our community and our planet. For many, choosing a plant-based diet has become the way to contribute to a more sustainable future. But is eating a plant-based diet really the key to creating a sustainable food system? How can we as consumers contribute to a more sustainable food system globally in a social aspect? And what other factors need to be taken into account when eating sustainably? For this Sweden Talks we will meet Olga Grönvall Lund who will talk about how to create a global food system that is equal, circular, and sustainable.
Olga Grönvall Lund is a Swedish entrepreneur who has worked with food-related projects her whole professional career. She has mainly been active in Stockholm and Berlin but has also hosted events, catered, and done productions in other parts of the world such as Hong Kong, London, Bologna, Copenhagen and Paris to name a few.
In 2019 Olga founded Reformaten – a people’s movement for a new food system where everyone is a winner – humans, animals and nature. The slogan, “Det ska vara lätt att äta rätt”, explains the purpose well; “it must be easy to eat right”.
