Western Balkans: Aspects of international assistance for refugees and migrants

This activity is organised by the Sweden Alumni Network Western Balkans and is open to all alumni.

The Workshop will focus on exchanging best practices in providing humanitarian assistance for internally displaced persons, migration governance, and identification of presumed victims of trafficking in mixed migration flows. The workshop is organized with the objective to raise awareness and to develop knowledge of participants on human rights and refugee law, refugee protection, trafficking in persons, migration and detention issues. It aimed also at exchanging information and analysis and enhancing inter-agency cooperation and networking among participants as a necessary prerequisite for effectively addressing the various protection challenges of managing mixed migratory movements.
