Protect – Preventing gender-based violence against women in southern provinces of Tunisia

A task force of ambassadors is trained for GBV prevention to guide and refer their peers in university campuses when violence occurs. This is done through a survey on prevalence and impact of GBV, awareness raising campaigns, participatory theatre,and roundtables with Ministry of Womens Affairs for civil society and public coordinations GBV responders to support the initiation of local GBV Coordination Committees in Medenine and Tataouine where GBV is common and response services are few.
