Expanding the Space

The aim is to engage a cross-border network of social media activists, media, artists and human right defenders to protect the freedom of expression on the Internet. This network will work together to reach out to politicians, regulators and law enforcers in Tanzania and Zambia. Freedom of expression is under threat. Tanzania could benefit from the work of the civil society in Zambia as well as Bloggers of Zambia’s and Global Reporting’s previous experience and there is a window of opportunity.
