Since 2017, Clowns Without Borders have been training artists in using Arts to empower and mobilize mainly refugee girls and women, creating micro-groups in their communities and safe spaces as platforms to increase the engagement in gender equality & peace. Today, this program is being implemented in 5 countries.
In this project, Art-action, we want to invite artists and cultural organizations involved from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen to exchange their knowledge and experience, improve their capacities and above all to create a dynamic and artistic network for gender equality and peace in the Middle East.
