In a period of war and civil unrest in the post-Soviet region, documentary filmmakers are of extreme importance to record the situation for posterity. Their situation is dangerous both physically and mentally and they need creative and psychological support. Building on our extensive network of filmmakers in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, B2B Doc will widen its programme to attract colleagues from EU countries to form creative partnerships that will enable filmmakers in war and crisis zones to bring their work to fruition. Filmmakers from the peaceful west will at the same time gather new professional experience while supporting film projects of historical importance.
