We plan to enhance research capacity in gender economics at a leading academic institution in Armenia. We will leverage that capacity to inform the public and policy-makers about gender gaps in Armenian society, their causes, consequences, and potential solution. We plan to organize workshops and seminars involving both local and international researchers working on issues of gender inequality. We will then apply the know-how and networks acquired through these activities to coordinate the production of policy reports and podcast episodes on gender gaps in Armenia. Finally, we will cooperate with a local NGO to design a career-orientation module to inspire young women to study STEM subjects.
