The project will establish a platform for exchange of experience and good practice between cities and regions on fostering community resilience with local assets, particularly focusing on culture as a driver of community engagement.
Societal resilience relies on the ability of communities to withstand, overcome and learn from the challenges they face, requiring traits such as social connections, trust, sense of belonging, ability to cooperate and self-organise.
Taking stock of practical experience of communities in crisis, the project organises a series of learning labs, producing conclusions and measures to foster resilient communities in the Baltic Sea region and the Eastern Partnership countries, while strengthening connections between municipalities and regions across the project geography.
