The project aims to strengthen the professional capacity of cultural workers and artists in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina through cross-border artistic collaboration with Sweden, focused on freedom of expression and peripheral perspectives.
In politically and culturally centralized contexts, artists from smaller or marginalised environments often lack access to major platforms, leading to underrepresentation and reduced influence. This dynamic affects both Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, where independent cultural voices face similar barriers.
The project facilitates creative workshops with mixed teams, enabling participants to exchange experiences and co-produce performances that reflect on the relationship between center and periphery. Activities include online discussions, collaborative creation, and public showcases in Sweden and Bosnia-Herzegovina. By amplifying voices from the margins and fostering international dialogue, the project supports cultural actors as agents of change and contributes to strengthening democratic values and artistic freedom.
