Bergman Week on FÄrö welcomes international journalists

Ingmar Bergman would have been 100 years old in July 2018, but he is far from being a museum object. As a central figure in film history he continues to influence film makers around the world. The Bergman Week takes place 25 June - 1 July on the island of Gotland.

SI has invited international journalists from Colombia, Egypt, France, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, the United Kingdom and Russia. The journalists will experience Ingmar BergmanŽs favourite place and home, FÄrö, and learn about the work and life of Ingmar Bergman and about Swedish film production.

The Bergman Week offers seven days of screenings of films, drama, music, lectures and conversations with both Swedish and international guests. Read more here
