According to the UN, another 2.5 billion people are expected to live in cities by 2050. This require cities to find new ways to handle the increased demands on natural resources, housing and infrastructure. The Global Goals for Sustainable Development, Agenda 2030, adopted by all UN member states in 2015, call for urgent action.

The exhibition presents some of the social, economic and technological solutions that Swedish actors have developed to meet the cities challenges.

Come and find out more about Guerilla Crafts and Yarn Bombing or find out what Democratic Architecture is and how to create sustainable solutions for the City. You may also try the mixed reality Block Builder application in large-scale environments.

The exhibition is open to the public on weekends from 9 March between 12:00 and 17:00. Partners in the exhibition are Smart City Sweden, Ericsson, UN-Habitat and Architects Sweden.
