The application round for the fully-funded SI Scholarship for Global Professional has openend. It welcomes applicants from 41 countries, planning to pursue a fill-time master’s degree in Sweden starting the academic year 2023/2024.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, insurance and travel expenses to Sweden. In addition, scholars are offered the opportunity to participate in activities within the Network for Global Professionals. Note that you must first have applied for master’s programmes at University Admissions in order to apply for the SI Scholarship.
Deadline to apply: 28 February 2023, 14:59 Central European Time.

Paused intake from Russian nationals
We continuously monitors the development in the region and assesses potential risks related to our activities. We carry out a comprehensive application process to be able to assess all applications fairly. Certain elements of the application process might put Russian nationals at great risk. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, the Swedish Institute decided in October of 2022 to pause the scholarship offer for Russian nationals. A reassessment will be made for the subsequent selection process in 2024.
Around 250 scholarship will be awarded 2023
Due to budgetary cuts, the Swedish Institute will have to lower the amount of scholarship holders awarded in 2023. Around 250 students from 41 countries will receive the scholarship starting the academic year 2023/2024.
