In connection with the events the Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka showcases the touring exhibition Facing the Climate – Swedish cartoonists get you thinking. The exhibition has been touring in more than 30 countries globally and reached an audience of more than 400.000 visitiors. It is the first time the Swedish cartoons are shown in Zambia and hopefully they will provoke and amuse and get the Zambian audience not only thinking but also acting to create change to climate challenges.
Facing the Climate in Lusaka
The Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka, in partnership with UNDP, EU and Zambia’s Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, will host a Climate Dialogue Forum. Sweden’s Ambassador for Climate Change, Lars Ronnås, will participate in the discussions with Zambian speakers moderated by Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).
