This activity is organised by Sweden Alumni Network India, Kerala Chapter in collaboration with AWH College of Education, Kozhikode and is open all.
The Sweden Alumni Network India, Kerala Chapter will conduct Her Rights!, an activity in tune with the UN Sustainable Development Goals aiming to empower women in the economy and close gender gaps. We will hold a discussion event highlighting the point that economic equality and women’s economic autonomy are essential for attaining women’s rights along with social media campaign.
The discussion event will have a main speaker, a woman, who presents the concept that the economic empowerment of women is a prerequisite for gender equality and the current rate of progress in this field is very slow. This will be followed by a group discussion in which the participants will take part. The majority of the participants will be women teacher trainees. The short videos supplied by the SI will also be shown to reinforce the idea.
