Media visits are an essential part of promoting Sweden and arranged by the Swedish Institute as a response to interest from international media. During 2020 approximately 60 journalists will visit Sweden.
12 journalists from South Africa, India, Japan, Hungary, Brazil, Turkey, Belarus, Argentina,Croatia, Zambia and Uganda will visit Sweden during ”Women in Tech”, the largest conference for women in technology across the Nordics. The visit will highlight Swedish innovation, technology, and gender equality within tech. The visiting journalists will meet female tech entrepreneurs, representatives from Swedish start-ups and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth to learn how Sweden is working to reach a more gender balanced innovation industry.
