Media visits to Sweden are an essential part of promoting Sweden. The visits are arranged by the Swedish Institute as a response to interest from international media. In 2019, some thirty journalists will visit Sweden and attend different events.
Journalists with a special focus on innovation and social issues will visit the Gather festival, an interdisciplinary conference in tech, business, innovation and culture – and meet stakeholders working with citizen dialogue and democracy issues.
