The event will occur during the same period when global leaders will be congregated in Madrid, Spain for the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP25.
On Saturday, the 7th of December, almost midway through COP25, SINFGL Local Network SLU congregates scholars to share lived experiences and realities on climate change from the Global North to the Global South. In the process, the Network will audit the proceedings of COP25 vis-à-vis their realities and youthful perspectives; to check if substantial progress is being made globally to address climate change the global dilemma with the global urgency that it presently demands.
The event will take place at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala and all SI scholarship holders and NFGL-members are welcome.
