- Mikaela Backman (Assistant Professor, CEnSE – Centre for Entrepreneurship and Spatial Economics & Director of PhD Candidates in JIBS)
- Karin Hellerstedt (Associate Professor Business Administration, CeFEO – Centre for Family Enterprise and Ownership, JIBS & PhD Programme for Business Administration)
- Joaquin Cestino (Final year Ph.D. student in MMTC – Media, Management and Transformation Center) with pluriannual industry experience

During the session the speakers will be:
- discussing the opportunity of doing a PhD from the perspective of JIBS and its 3 key research centers
- facilitating students in deciding whether a PhD study should be the next step for their career as a researcher
- providing details about PhD application requirements within JIBS and other relevant schools
- sharing insight experience from life as a PhD student and a researcher followed by a PhD
