NFGL Local Network Event: Study Visit to Volvo Group

During the study visit the participants will be able to learn about Volvo's approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Human Rights, as well as explore potential employment opportunities in Volvo via its Graduate Programmes.

Volvo is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines. The company also provides complete solutions for financing and service. During this Study Visit the SI NFGL members will visit the headquarter of the Volvo Group (“Volvo”) in Gothenburg as well as its Tuve factory.

With its headquarters in Gothenburg, Volvo employs about 100 000 people, has production facilities in 18 countries and sells its products in more than 190 markets. During the study visit the participants will be able to learn about Volvo’s approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Human Rights, as well as explore potential employment opportunities in Volvo via its Graduate Programmes.

Programme 
7:00 – meeting in Lund Central for departure to Gothenburg
10:00 – arrival at Volvo headquarter in Gothenburg
10:15- Presentation of Volvo Group and its Graduate Programmes by Martin Barle
10:45- Presentation on Human Rights by Venki Vaithianathan, Director of Corporate Responsibility at Volvo Group
12:00 – Lunch at Volvo
13:00 – trip to Tuve factory
18:00 – arrival in Lund
