Swedish Institute Alumni Pakistan – North Chapter (SIAP) in collaboration with Art Otaq, Jawad Sharif Films and The Little Art invites you to ‘Artists and Climate Change – Fika Talks’ film screening event on 15th October 2022 in Lahore
Art Otaq (an organization which encourages and promotes the fundamental role of Art and Culture in society through diverse art forms) and Jawad Sharif, a Swedish Institute Alumni, joined hands a year back to talk about the impact of climate change in general and smog in particular through their creative practices.
This event is to connect Swedish Alumni in Pakistan with artists’ community through art and showcase, and engage youth and local community to join hands to raise awareness for collective action.
What is Fika?
Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat.
