SI Food Futures Connect

SI Food Futures Connect is a new initiative by the Swedish Institute (SI) that brings together 20 leading entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem enablers from 7 countries in the MENA region for a curated learning journey in Sweden.

Convening in Stockholm from 29 September to 5 October 2025, the programme promotes mutual exchange, collaboration, and sustainable transformation in food and agriculture. It coincides with Stockholm ImpACT Days and the EAT Forum (the world’s leading platform for food system transformation) and includes participation at Sweden FoodTech’s Big Meet Rosendal and Norrsken Startup Pitch Night.

Participants represent companies ranging from regenerative farms, organic fertiliser ventures, and food design studios to agri-tech startups, water recycling solutions, food processing businesses, and green finance incubators. Together, they will explore regenerative and climate-smart solutions, connect with Sweden’s innovation ecosystem, and join tailored study visits with researchers, companies, and investors.

The programme is carried out in collaboration with Sida and forms part of Sweden’s regional development cooperation strategy with the MENA region, supporting green transition, economic empowerment, and sustainable trade.Â
