Join Sweden Talks 2025 for an inspiring seminar on water and sustainability
Martina Nee, Business Strategist Policy and Programme at WaterAid, will share how water and climate change is related and why access to clean water and sanitation is a prerequisite for both education and work.
Perhaps you use water multiple times a day and take it for granted, but almost 2 billion people don’t have soap and water to wash their hands at home. Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene have always been crucial for a society’s ability to develop. They are essential for global development, poverty reduction, gender equality, and health.
WaterAid works to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. Meet Martina and learn how WaterAid works in partnership with communities and companies to secure clean water.
During this seminar, you will:
- Gain insights into how climate change is affecting access to clean water globally.
- Explore the complexities of water, sanitation and hygiene and what it means for poverty reduction, gender equality and health.
- Have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in an open conversation.
Join Sweden Talks and contribute to the conversation about a key sustainability topic.
