Tekla is a collaboration between KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Swedish Institute with the aim to involve more teenage girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). On 8 March a series of workshops for Egyptian girls between the age of 11 and 15 will take place. The following day, a panel discussion will focus on the underrepresentation of women in tech professions and the importance of role models.
Tekla Festival to Egypt on the International Women’s Day
Celebrating the International Women’s Day, the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo will organize a “Tekla” event on March 8 and 9 at the Embassy’s residence.
