Overview
In collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum, the Swedish Institute is offering scholarships for 20 teachers from nine countries to participate in a four-day programme centred around, Nobel Prize Teacher Summit. The summit and extended programme are organised by the Nobel Prize Museum.Â
The theme of this year’s Nobel Prize Teacher Summit is “The Future of Democracy”: There are almost always alternatives. But when it comes to organising society, democracy is still the best option for ensuring the freedom and rights of people.

Apply for a scholarship to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit program during 26-29 March, no later than 5 February 2025.
Who can apply?
The travel scholarship is open to trained and professionally active teachers from the following countries:
- Africa: Tanzania, Zambia
- Asia: Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam
- Europe: Ukraine, Moldova
- Latin America: Colombia
- Middle East and Northern Africa: Egypt
