Each year, selected teachers from around the world receive a scholarship from the Swedish Institute to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit – and participate in a four-day programme, which includes workshops, study visits, and cross-cultural learning. Local hubs provide an opportunity for these scholars to share the knowledge and inspiration gained from their time in Stockholm.

The hub was facilitated by three Swedish alumni: Dr. Karika Kunta (NIDA Environment School, NIDA), Dr. Wanwisa Suebnusorn Klaijumlang (Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University), and Dr. Kitti Jayangakula (Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University). The event featured six dynamic discussion groups that explored ways to motivate students to engage more in class, resulting in insightful and lively exchanges.
Thanks to Karika, her alumni peers and the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok, the knowledge gained from the summit in 2024 has been shared, extending its impact and inspiring even more educators globally.

SI Scholarship for Nobel Prize Teacher Summit is organised by Sweden Alumni Academy, an initiative to strengthen and inspire SI and Sweden alumni. The Sweden Alumni Academy includes professional development and networking opportunities, webinars and capacity building initiatives and programmes.
