AE-Pro-Vision: Creating an Action Plan for an Agroecological Baltic Sea Region Vision

Agroecology emerges as a holistic problem-solving approach gaining traction in the EU. The project aims to catalyse a cooperative effort across Baltic Sea countries, engaging stakeholders from various sectors. The consortium, comprising academic, environmental, and farming initiatives and leverages existing cooperations to drive the change.

Current socio-economic disparities, climate change, and environmental degradation threatens societal stability and well-being. Agriculture, a major contributor to these issues, needs to be transformed to become part of the solution rather than being a problem.

The project will create a methodology for fruitful stakeholder engagement to set the ground for developing a joint Baltic Sea region vision for an agroecological transformation of our food systems, shaping policies, research and practices for a resilient future.
