The programme creates a 1-year fellowship of 15 (artistic) frontrunners, who will become pioneers of free expression in North Africa. Through the fellowship, they will obtain networking opportunities and capacity-building in film-making, ICT, social media, business and fundraising. Thus, the fellowship will work as a catalyst to help these activists to reach a wider audience, and to contribute to freedom of expression and the deepening of democracy in the region.
