In Rwanda there is an absence of reliable disaggregated data, a lack of disability perspective in general gender equality policies, and inadequate policies for the advancement, development and empowerment of WGWD. This project intends to raise an awareness among agents of change (local leaders, decision makers and community members) about the rights of women and girls with disabilities (WGWD) through creative means such as documentary film, audio theatre and dance.
