This project combines participatory art and digital storytelling to spur interaction between refugees and hosts in Uganda. Artists from the Cultural Avenue will be trained to develop mobile phone-based digital stories to capture artists’ perspective on refugees. Refugee artists will develop their stories in workshops. These stories will be published on social media. The conveners will publish a manual on best practices in digital storytelling, for use by other organisations and communities.
