The project BuildingEFFECT focus on energy efficiency in public buildings, in order to reach the EU directive on energy efficiency. It also aims to contribute to the goal of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region to become a sustainable and low carbon macro-region.
The aim of the project is to establish a network of sub-regional partners for the task and to develop a full application for the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020.
The partners of BuildingEFFECT will learn about the current situation in each country of the Baltic Sea region as well as share experiences and identify areas where transnational cooperation can contribute to solutions. Another focus is to learn about green tech solutions and how SMEs can be supported to reach a larger market with these. Furthermore, the partners will identify practices that create collaboration between public and private sectors. The aim is also to find more partners who want to participate in the network and the future project.
