CAFU: Competence Aid For Ukraine

The aim of the project is to complement the studies of Ukrainian youth and young adults and to create capacity for a holistic impact on post-war Ukraine, aligned with EU standards and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Many young adults in Ukraine aspire to contribute to their country’s development but have limited exposure to international best practices. They need broader skills and knowledge relevant to post-war reconstruction and modernisation, including understanding and ability to achieve EU standards, UN Sustainable Development Goals, and democratic governance principles.

The project will educate 200 Ukrainians of which 30 graduates will participate in study visits and short-term job shadowing in Sweden. An alumni network will be established, 15 local initiatives will be funded and implemented with mentorship support, and a report contributing to Ukraine’s National Recovery Plan will be published.
