This project aims to strengthen the connections and cooperation between the Baltic and Eastern Partnership regions, and contribute to the exchange of practices, skills, and knowledge regarding civic action, crucial for tackling shared challenges.
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine stirred disturbance in nearby countries and the desire of large portions of populations to cut ties with Russia, and to choose a European democratic future instead. Civil society has been particularly active, spearheaded mainly by the European-minded younger generations, and this strongly felt direction is also a big opportunity to help leverage other societal and non-democratic issues.
The project will create a forum for civil society organisations and individuals. Utilising creative communication and storytelling, the project amplifies youth activist voices by showcasing relatable role models, seeking particularly actors from rural areas. The initiative includes producing short films and organising meetings and workshops.
