The project Creative Insight as a Service is about innovations and their impact on sustainability in the region. The project will focus on collaborations between professionals from different fields.
CCI BSR argues that the future of the Baltic Sea region is dependent on its creative capacity and capability for renewal. In the strive for sustainability, cross-sectoral co-operations and knowledge exchange play a significant role. CCI BSR suggests that within the Cultural Creative industries, the field of cross-innovations is in the margin. Most of the industry activities relate to the traditions, without the intent of new collaborations. The field of cross-innovations is also in the margin of different innovation policies and systems, and in discussions on sustainable development and the sector’s contributions to sustainability.
The project aims to implement practical actions to support the creative cross-innovation field in the Baltic Sea region, and its possibilities to contribute to the region’s capacity for innovations in sustainability. Activities include developing and testing a new creative cross-innovation method, and to produce tools, a manual and material for potential users.
